The other day, I saw this video of an eleven year old home schooled boy giving a TED talk about industrialized farming and GMO crops vs. Slow Food and organic farming. Insightful stuff, with good ideas, and very impressive to me considering he's my daughter's age. He's inspiring.
That evening, I had the kids watch. My daughter was hooked from the first words. The boys, not so much, but if they push for sparkly cereal just a little less, it'll be time well spent. I'd love, too, for her to get ideas about how kids her age can help change the world. A mum can dream, right?
